Why When I have industry set up my people have no job zots above there homes

Hi and welcome to ST.

First piece of advice is to ignore the stupid zots. They don't halp you any. Now to answer your question, it might be because the industry zones is too far away. Or it could be that there is no way to get to the industry. The sims never wanna travel to far to get to their jobs. Try zoning commercial and industry closer to the sims.

Also try to check the traffic. If it is a big zone, then maybe you need better transport systems...

The no=transport zots are an indication that the scheduler has seen the lots.  Just make sure that there is some path (any path) to connect the R lots to C or I lots, and they will eventually go away, usually followed by a build.

If you are running in Turtle, this may take a while, but in Rhino it seems to take about a Sim-month.  If you want to get rid of the zots (all of them) you can load buggi's extra cheats .dll and use the tastyzots command to get rid of them.
