Building RHW over GLR

Forgive me if this has been covered before but I have tried searching the Forum considerably and have not been able to find anything. I don't ever seem to find what I am looking for with the search function.

Is it possible to have an Elevated RHW-4 cross over a GLR line with a bridge? I can't find a puzzle piece or a draggable solution to make this work.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

As far as I know, it's partially there in draggable form, but doesn't really work all that well.  It's likely to be fixed by RHW 4.2 or 4.3, though.

I think this is what he was talking about. I am having the same trouble. Any news on getting this fixed yet?

If there is not already a puzzle piece for it....I would say it will be in an upcoming RHW

Also...here on the site...the largest picture you can post is 800x600. Most of the time, when you upload it to your image hosting site, you can choose to resize it. 2.gif

As DCMetro mentioned, it is indeed planned.  It may be in Version 4.2, though don't quote me on that. 2.gif  It won't be a puzzle piece but a full-on draggable setup.  It had been worked on as early as Version 3.0 development in 2008-2009, but there were some quirks with it (mainly because the base ElRail network can't intersect an ERHW) and it kind of fell by the wayside.  I have worked on it a little recently, though.

Thank you both for the quick responses. Is there any kind of a timeline as of yet that you guys know of. Sorry about the pic though. I was not aware of that. I do not make many posts.

No estimates on upgrades. That is posted almost everywhere a mention of an update exists. As for a work around, I'm using the glr FLUP and connecting with a dedicated subway line. It'll be an easy fix to replace with new draggable rail once the NAM team works the bugs out.

And I can officially confirm that we'll have GLR-under-ERHW support (and GLR-under-DDRHW support) in the upcoming RHW Version 5.0:

Excellent.

Just a question: any reason the pillars on the upper level of the ERHW are offset from the lower level? It looks good with more supports on top than on the bottom, but it seems to me that they should line up in the instances they occur on the same tile.

Not to take away from what you've done - I'm really impressed with all this new functionality!

The pillars between the two levels on the DDRHW are part of the actual model itself and are true-3D models, where as the bottom ones are orthographic projection models (like most SC4 buildings) that are applied via T21 rather than being part of the model.
