Unable to run on 'Medium' settings...

I have Windows Vista, (laptop.)

I have 2GB of RAM. (Memory)

I have Intel® 965 Express Chipset... or something like that, updated.

I have Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU T2310 @ 1.46GHz

I can run on very low, low, and it simply crashes on medium.

It says on the site that I would only be able to run it on 'very low' but if I had 3GB of RAM, would it work on

medium graphics settings?

I'm Sorry, But your Video card isn't powerful enough to run the game on higher settings. Adding more RAM will increase

shared Video Memory, and make the computer faster, but your laptop's Video Card is not supported, so you will only be able to play on Very Low.

According to the Cities XL System Requirements, you need:

Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS or better (at least 256 MB Dedicated VRAM)

or

ATI Radeon HD 3850 or better (at least 256 MB Dedicated VRAM)

With Pixel Shader 3.0 or above.

And your CPU isn't fast enough either, it needs to be dual core 1.86GHz or above to run, yours is only 1.46GHz

Hi There!

I am new to Simtropolis, and not very techno literate. I am in desperate help with compatibility issues with the Cities XL 2009/11.

I have a Compaq pesario v3000 and I've got cities xl 2011, it wont run because my laptop does not seem to have the required video card and fair enough too. Cant afford a new graphics card so I am hoping if XL 2009 would be compatible with my system, I know that this laptop does not have a dedicated graphics card. I have a windows 7 OS and I am really hoping to play the game. Would really appreciate some advice if someone could step up and help me out of this.
