I'd like to present my latest bat, the macquarie bank in Sydney, which isn't finished yet but I'd like to have feedback also I'm finding it hard to get that nice shiny blue glass texture the real building has and I don't think it would be good without it.

This is the east side of my bat but I don't like the right side it looks ugly.

This is The South side this is my favourite side.

This is the north side and as you can see I  had circled the gap and I was thinking of putting underground parking for good looks.

Now this is the actual building, isn't it just beautiful. Just notice that the glass has long rectangle panels then small square panels.

You should be more careful with wording things. Wrong wording could actually trap you. For instance you say "shiny blue glass texture the real building has". You see it is a nonsense - real building doesn't have any "glass texture" be it nice, shiny or blue. But by wording it you in a way have trapped yourself. You are not anymore aware or reality but of what you have made of it by this statement - highly erroneous one at that.

Even at those pictures of the real thing you've supplied one can clearly see that the glass sort of appears to be somewhat similar to your description only at the last one and even then only at the small portion.  But in the rest the picture is quite different. So I would conclude that it is is very standard for modern buildings glass that is quite clear. I bet with special coating to filter out IR radiation, but let in good  deal of normal light. That's why reflections of the sky appear so much darker than actual sky. So you would be wiser to look at it again and see how you could paint in that sort of effects - moderate reflectivity and significant see through - don't use "semitransparent" glass - it never looks good in GMAX and you would need a lot more work with it. You'd be much better off by painting  blinds onto your texture - this building windows would be "blinded" most of them most of the time.

But before you go there you should take a very serious look at the model itself - it is hugely out of scale! What you have now completely ruins the very design. Real thing is 100x50 meters in plan and under 50m in height. So it would be 6,25x5,125 game tiles in size. Your one is tinny and hugely overstretched vertically (along Z axis in GMAX). Also the hole you have circled is framed wrongly and following scaling issues with the whole building is is also of wrong proportions. Also your "exo-skeleton" ends abruptly at the right side of north view.

It is a good looking and interesting building. You have demonstrated that you have enough technique proficiency to actually model it. But you really need to go back to the beginning and get proportions right. You can most definitely do it, it is clear from what I see already. But you need more attention.

I'm not sure if you were aware of this thread on Skyscrapecity.com . It has very good floor plans and elevation of the building as well as may hight quality photos of it during construction time and renders of the professional models.
