I played a long time ago and was sure I knew how to do this . . . but now can't figure it out again . . .

I have a .jpg that I want to use as a region . . . how do I go about that in SC4?

    thanks,
    Jim

If it is a greyscale, then open up Mapper, and then choose create region, and then if you have one, choose your config.bmp. If you haven't gotten one made up then grab the dimensions of that jpg and open paint or Landscape Designer and design one you like. Mapper can be found here, (it is only on the LEX)

There is excellent information on map making in the Omnibus Omnimaps.  The link to the Omnibus is at the top of the page.

Moving to the Mapping Community Board Room.
