Is SimCity gone??

Your documents are probably in the C: drive. The game will run without the files in your documents, but it will have to put them somewhere. I'm not sure how that would work. If you reboot you C: drive, and it is work normally again, SimCity will surely work.

Lugnuts: So your guessing that it'd still work even with the My Documents gone? Would you know if my country was gone or not or if I'd have to re-install the game. It's ok if you don't know.

Ok, I have do the same exact thing as you did reagarding the install of the main files on a drive that is other than c, such as f. You need to install all your plugins into the My Documents Sim City 4 folder. Regarding if SC4 will run without My Documents, it won't because you won't have regions. That is where your regions are saved as well.

Honestly, I'd just re-install the game. Problem solved ;-)

If your original My Documents folder that was in C is now in F you can move it back into C and everything should be the way it was before. But if your original My documents folder is gone then you lost your country

Depends if you have your Sim City folder that was in your My Documents folder. If its gone, then your region/country is gone.

If you lost the original "My Doc's" folder when you lost the C: drive, then you cannot recover your old stuff in all likelihood. All of your cities and regions, etc along with most of your custom content would have been in there. If on the other hand, you happened to have copied it to the F: drive before C: failed (or even if it still exists even though you can't operate from C:) then you can recover it by copying it to your "new" "My Doc's" folder after you re-install and correct whatever system problems you are having. In either case you certainly can install and run SC4 with no problems. It's really two separate issues.

Sirron Kcuhc: You have to move the Shayden region folder to the desktop, reinstall the game, and move it back to its original place. Same goes for your plugins.

Well said, and SC4 can run, its just wheither or not you'll have your plugins and regions. Sirron Kcuhc, it seems like you have a CJ. If you lost your My Documents folder, they you most likely lost the region/CJ. Hopefully this didn't happen.

I had the Documents on the C drive from what I understand so I think I did. And what also sucks is that I won't be able to play it for a week or so. I can't play the game at least until around the 23rd/24th. But on the bright side I've learned some stuff that can help me get a bigger population. And I can find better names for my cities.
