 i wanted to save the content of those 2 disc installer in my computer, so whatever happens to the cds, i still have

a backup file, now the problem is, it contains 2 cds, when i tried installing it, halfway around the installation process

it asked the 2nd disc. i saved both disk in a single folder, can this be solved?

I don't quite understand what you are saying, but just put the disc 2 in there and hit OK once you have.

I was not using any cds, i saved the contents of those 2 cds in the hard drive in a single folder so i could have a backup file in case something goes wrong or i lost my cd, then I will have to install sim city without the use of the cd, instead i'll be using the backup file, but the problem, when i tried installing it from my back up file, it still searched for my 2nd disc halfway the installation process, i clicked ok when that pop up "insert disc 2", nothing happened,

So, basically you saved the contents of the two CDs in a folder on your computer, and then you try to run the install program from the folder? Doing that will still require that the CD be in the drive since that's where the program checks.

Can't you just make backup copies of the CDs? That seems like it would be  much more useful than storing the files on your computer.
