General Saving Problem

This has been a reoccuring problem and everytime i make a CJ of a City i like, the game later crashes while saving, or it just saves and when i go to open it, the game crashes. this has even happened before i downloaded any mods.

Q1: anybody have the same problem?

Q2: anybody know how to fix this?

A1: Yup. Gave up on many cities because I felt I was wasting my efforts.

A2: Wait for update

The Sims isnt any better, and thats backed by a billion dollar company. It really enrages me.

A1: Same problem for me, very annoying!

A2: I dont know about any solution at the moment, part of the problem could be solved if the automatic save can be suspended somehow.
