Problem with BAT Nightlight update

I tried to install the BAT Nightlight fix, but it said the "file is already there, has not been changed."

I realized that I hadn't patched my game (had to reinstall SC4). I apply the patch from the official Simcity site, and try to fix again, but it gave the same message. The nightlights in custom BATs do not show up.

Can someone help me? Or will I have to uninstall and reinstall SC4 (which I'm fine with, I only started playing again recently)

You need to have Deluxe or Rush Hour. Then you need to install the EP1 patch. After that, you should be able to install the SC4Update4BAT night light patch. Also, if you have applied some kind of alternative patch (such as a no-cd patch) the updates won't install. Game files must be the originals for the patches to work.
