Big Dig has bidirectional subway traffic on one tile

Hi.  I have just started using Big Dig, but now I'm getting a problem with it.  I may have constructed something incorrectly, so just tell me if that's the cause of my problem.  The thing is, although the manual for Big Dig says that there should be two subway lines, one for each direction of traffic, I have one subway line with traffic flowing both ways, which isn't supposed to happen.  Sims are using the onramp and then making 135° turns to travel the wrong way on the underground highway.  I have all my onramps angled the right way so that they are facing the correct direction of traffic.  Oh, and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...I considered the Big Dig thread but it seems that was for development updates and not support, and of course it hasn't been replied to since 2009...

a subway goes is both ways; it is omnidirectional... if you have any intersecftions, no matter the angle, the sims get a choice to go one way or the other and even go above ground with the el rail and sub to el transition... i dont even use this mod but i use subways often and the subways are hard coded into the game so any modder could not make one way subways... stop thinking about them being one way and you'll solve your own problem... good luck

As Tysons4 mentioned, subways are bi-directional. So once the traffic has entered the subway system, any intersections could create undesired or unexpected results. This is why it is not recommend crossing paths if you want dedicated lines for the Big Dig "tunnels."

Also, and it's been a while since I've used these, but your results may no be that unexpected. It might be due to the fact that you have roads running next to the ramp pieces. I know that "unexpected" traffic transitions happen on these types of transfer lots when routes are next to them because of the way they have to be modded. This will cause transition points along the length of the lots that you may not have expected. You might try placing the ramps or deleting the roads so that the only road touching them is the one entering or leaving the ramp.

    Just a thought...
