Certain Lots on Intel iMac

     I just got a brand new iMac with a quad core and top-of-the-line graphics card 10.gif.  I installed SC4RH and the UB patch, transferred my cities and plugins from my old computer, and the game opened and ran (in pause mode), but whenever I made time start rolling, the game froze.

    I then did some trial-and-error by removing certain plugins from my plugin folder.  I eventually narrowed it down to the NAM plugin files "NetworkAddonMod_High_ElRail_Plugin.dat" and "NetworkAddonMod_High_Monorail_Plugin.dat".  The good news: the game at least runs now in absence of these two files (and the graphics are stunningly blazin' fast)!  The bad news: when plopping certain other lots, the game still freezes.  I have identified two lots that exhibit this behavior:

    Tonkso GLR Station

    Compact Parking Garage

    Shmails 1x3 Parking set

    I remember that a while ago, I had problems with the Compact Parking Garage's capacity on mac.  I had to launch VPC and open the Reader, change a small setting (changing a "1" to a "0" or something), and then the capacity was fixed.  I tried to track down the thread, but I can't seem to find it any more.

    What do you think could be the problem?  Maybe the capacity thing could be a hint.

    It's too late for me to really think about the right answer. So this is going to be a guess.

    Capacity could be a problem. I don't think it would be the whole problem, but there is a chance that it could be. If you say that once you unpause it crashes then it very well could be this. If you have the ability to change it then by all means go ahead, if not then I can give it a shot. But for the easiest and quickest method, just remove it from your plugins.

    After having a good look at the files that you listed, it may be the capacities. I would just delete them for now, unless you really need them, in which case you would need to change the capacities. I could however do this for you, but I would need permission from the original creator to pass it along to you and therefore it may take longer than originally thought because of waiting times.

    Do you have another stations in your plugins?

    If I have any other ideas, I will edit this post n
