Have A Question About Lots And One Other Thing

I recently downloaded and instlled a new low wealth replacement mod and when the growable version grows, on most buildings it sits on a dark navy blue background, much like the one on the out of bounds background in a city or region. I didnt see anything in the readme or description about any depedencies. Any suggestions?

Also, whenever I reinstall the game, something strange happens, whenever I am playing the city the buildings in the city dissappear, and start floating around in thin air, and a green on the golf course is as big as half of the city. And there is a 25 tile wide street going through where the river is supposed to be, and then the water turns red orange and looks like lava. I change the renderer from hardware to software and that helps, but I am wondering why they do that?

It does sound like a missing texture. If you could give the name or link of the download in question, it could be checked.

Just from the description, it sounds like a video card issue. You might give your computer specifications to provide more information.

I am running I do think from the last time I checked a Nvidia GeForce Graphic card. And all the little dots and numbers and dashes afterwards. I am running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. Going off the little sticker on the case, the processor is a 2000+ 1.67 Ghz AMD Athlon XP. On a 40 gig hard drive. May I also mention I did find 4 bad blocks a few days ago, moved most of the data off of them with some SpinRite software.
