Must recycle a lot of energy. By moving you generate wind. Wind then powers the car. Obviously thermodynamics dictates this alone would have to slowly wind down, but external wind would give it a boost.

So, yeah, counter to common sense as the idea may sound, I believe it.

I love Popular Science but that is not the most interesting that I have seen.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.
