The civil buildings are upgraded

The fire stations has now better lots. The larger one doesn't have trees any more and can support 2 aircars.

I never liked the base I made for the hospital. The parking was too small and there was a small texture error. I fix that by making a huge underground parking garage. 1 of those ramps is only for ambulances.

I removed the trees and green spaces from the large police station and make some garages for the antigravity police cars. I also add a nice effect for the antenna.

Not something special for the smaller police station...

I made a better yard for the school.

I placed the high school in the middle of it's lot and surrounded by trees

I didn't like the lot I made for the jail, so here is a better one. Underground ramps for the prisoners carrier buses and pads for the police aircars.

All grownable lots from SimMars are finally upgraded. Now your cities of the future will be more alive and with more variety and details. Most buildings will have solar power collectors for electric autonomy (eye candy, you still need to build a power plant), your industries will be really high-tech and your cities will be green and utopian. Having in my mind this...

At last it's time for the final part of the upgrading, the SimMars airports. The previous version was too complicated for a first stage airport, so I bring their original version back. This is the small landing strip, the large spaceport is coming soon...

Good news and bad news. The good news are that the small airport is now a bit better. You can now see Terran airplanes landing in the airport, while the texture are now more suitable for an airport

The bad news are the spaceport. I tried many times to upgrade it, adding airplanes and many cool details, but it refuse the upgrading! This is what happen in the last time

Some overlay textures gone, all the new props gone and... windmills?? I guess that the spaceport will be the only lot that it will still be the same.

I just upgrade all SimMars farms. Now all of them has solar panels and some apple-orange trees.

By this, all 432 SimMars lots have finally re-reloted and Memories of the Colonists is finally upgraded and ready for release

Before that, I'll test all the lots in order to see that everything is O.K., or at least as much as possible. If you have any cool idea to suggest it, please say it now

The new version of Memories of the Colonists will be released soon. Now I tried to relot the large spaceport again. This time the result is a bit better than the last one. No windmills, more props available, but still not complete. This is how it should look...

... and this is the result. I replaced the parking lots with underground entrances, reduced the number of props and add parked automata airplanes. However there are still missing props (not too much anymore) and textures.

Thanks to the help of the folks in SimPeg.com, the spaceport is finally ready for action

What happened? There is a limit in the props number. While in L.E. you can still add props even after you've hit the limit, save the lot and exit without getting any error, the L.E. will remove the last added props that were above the limit. So if after exiting L.E. you decide to restart it and reopen the lot, you would find the lot in L.E. with missing props. According to Paeng, 256 props is the maximum number that a lot can hold. Having this in my mind, I make some changes in the spaceport.

The original version had 44 small solar panels. I remove them, as well as some props.

I also add a parked airplane.

The X-48B by srainy or Martian Spaceport Ship by LVK_ST however are highly recommend.

One of the missing props, the airplanes effect, is finally here.

Sims are back too.

Almost all air terminals, maintenance facilities, service centres and hotels are now constructed underground.

A nice effect for my antennas.

There are still some missing effects. 2 flora-type trees and 3 timed props are missing, but I can fix it.
