Bigger region map to make ultra big city?

I'm looking for a mod or anything to make the region map bigger...

What i mean is not a small/medium or Large city is something bigger like a super large map so i could build a super big city.

Or a region with only one map to build a ultra large city.

I wonder if it's even possible anyone know?

I don't believe this is possible, from my own research in the past. I also think it would be ineffective after a while, without neighborhood connections and such. However, if there is a mod, i'd be interested in how it works.

If you have infinite money is not a big problem. ^^

But yeah i which there is a mod to enlarge the City area.

Or a other trick or something.

Or else i guess i will play a normal map.

Like he said earlier a large map is the largest a map will get. EVER. No exceptions. There is no way around it and nothing can be done to fix it, Its hardcoded in the game.

 There is no possible way right now and maybe never to make the region into one solid map...HOWEVER! regions can be bigger. All you have to do is create a map or find a map that is bigger and a joining config file and use that. In fact im currently playing on a map thats 16x16 large tiles, but ive had as big as 24x24 large tiles. all you need is SC4terraformer, which is (i think) downloadable off the SC4 main website, or a black and white pic, which i have no idea how to do. Any questions for these can be answered in the omnibus, which is a ultra mega, better than EA's original users guide for all things simcity (good thing they named it omnibus!)

There are plenty of Extra Large Regions available to download here on the STEX. City size in SC4 is hardcoded and the largest you will ever get is 256 by 256 tiles. Each tile in city view represents 16 meters, so a Large city tile is 4096 by 4096 meters.

City size in this game is limited but region size is not. You can have a huge region with lots of large cities. You can change the config.bmp that comes with a downloaded region and decide what sizes of cities you want and where you want them.

Srry that I cant help with SC4 Terraformer. If your having trouble with it try a different region download using the normal method of copying the .jpg file.

Well, the large city tile, just completly flat, is pretty big...making it bigger could cause lagginess.

The SC4 terraformer is quite confusing to use. Ive had to spend some time on it and i still forget somethings. If all else fails...read the instructions No...really...When you have downloaded it like you have, Open SC4Terraformer. It will also automatically open up a readme file. Everything you need to know about using SC4T and how to upload regions is in that readme.

Now if you happen to download a black and white image instead of a SC4T file, Then what you need to do is save it to a easy to access file. I tend to save the black and white pic directly in my main drive. Open SC4 and create a new region. Then exit, Go to your regions folder in your documents and replace the Config file in the new region with one that you downloaded. (i really dont know yet how to make config files...) Then open SC4 and go to your new region. Once you are there and see that its al working properly, Press Ctrl-shift-alt-R and a little dialog box will pop up. Find the black and white pic and click open. It wil then begin rendering the region and depending on the size and computer can take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour or more..(yes ive had to wait an hour..... )

And with your Mediafire question....i dont know. Simply because i have never heard of it so it would be best if someone else answered your question on that.
