An Idea for a Tool

I've been trying to build quite a few cities, and I found lots of rows of layered hights seems to make land value skyrocket. But I'm really sick of using roads to do this now.

So a nice idea if it doesn't already exist, how about some kind of tool that can straighten large area's to how you want them. I've tried searching using my eyes abnd browsing and using the search box but I can't get anything.

FRAPS Image Capture is set to F11. That happens to bring up the options. xP

Thank you for any help you can give. ^-^

you can take shots in game without having your options pop up a number of ways

1. take a shot in game ctrl shift s or use the camera tool... and convert it to jpg

2. change your fraps screenshot button to one that isnt being used... say 0

and about the tool you want... have you ever tried the level terrain tool? it came with the game... just resize it... use it for free by pressing ctrl alt shift and clicking the god mode button

our world is a simcity

I've always used the road tool for flattening land. But after you place your first row of road stumps (I don't know exactly what to call them), instead of doing the next row in stumps, you can just drag a new long road. The stumps have already locked in the flatness of the terrain, and the adjacent long road will be forced to be flat as well.

So, for your case, the first row on the ledge would be individually placed road stumps, and then behind it would be three rows of long roads dragged the entire length of the stump row.

I hope that makes sense.
