SimCity 4 with new PC build?

 I'm building a new computer in June, and I want to know if it will run SC4 on a large tile, with ~5GBs of plugins on a mega city of 12,000,000 sims.

I'm going to get 6x2GB corsair ddr3 memory, intel i7 930 OC'd to 4.2GHz and a 2GB eyefinity 6 edition of an ATI Radeon HD 5870. 

Will it run without problems?

ati isnt the best graphics card for an intel machine... or simcity4

what motherboard did you find with 6 slots for memory? and would that be six channel?

one of the more important things is the hd... you dont even mention one... id say get fast 10k or ssd

you should look at the new amd 6cores... they can over clock the cores that are being used (simcity4 is single core) and slow the other cores to keep it more stable... and $150 less than the intel's with aging file system

i have: 4core amd 2.5... 4gig 1066 dual channel ram... 4 tb storage 7200 rpm sata...9800gt nvidia...vista 64... soundblaster pciexpress sound card... dvd player and memory card reader all pluged into a biostar 790x motherboard am2... powered by a 850w power supply... dual 24" montior setup... plays simcity4 and most other games flawlessly...   2 at a time
