Common graphic issue in Region Mode

I hope bumping a thread is okay. I've still not been able to resolve this issue on my own.

I have, however, pretty much eliminated the possibility of it being a setting in the ATI Catalyst Control Center. I've tried several combinations of settings, none of which worked.

I've noticed that when in City View, then Save>Exit to Region View, that the glitch will go away from the cell I just exited... sometimes. Usually, the anomaly persists, but every once in a while, it will not do this.

I really would like to resolve this issue, because when the cell is glitched like this, it is impossible to select any cells behind it, making maps unplayable...

The Catalyst settings should be to "use application settings",

Sometimes with the ATI drivers, card, and OS combinations, you will need to use the game option for software rendering.

Your problem seems to be related to the save of that specific city tile? Does it always stay there or does it move around to other areas? The region "picture" is constructed at save time for each city during the save process. Be sure you are not going to other windows or tasks during the save process.

    Thanks for the replies.

I've been doing some tweaking and playtesting, and I believe I have resolved the issue.

I tried switching to Software Rendering, but that caused my screen to flicker in game.

I switched back to Hardware Rendering, and began to enable/disable settings in the Catalyst CC.

By disabling Catalyst AI in the 3D settings, the glitch seems to have gone away.

If this solution fixes the issue for anyone else, please post here, just to confirm that this is the cause of the issue.

    Thanks again guys!
