Custom background

how do I make a custom background for simcity 4?I have got a png file and I named the files properly but but it will not show up ingame?

Did you place the images in the Program Files/SC4 /Plugins folder? You should have found five images there that are the games default backgrounds. You might check the properties of the default files to be sure the new ones are the same.

yes, I put them in that folder and nothing happened! and by the way I have deleted my original sc4 background so ingame the background is just black!  

I also asked shadow_assassin and he told me to name them a certain name, so I did and nothing happened! maybe you can pm me your e-mail so I can e-mail you the files and you can say whether the files are correct?

You can get the original images from the CD. Make the custom images the same size, with the same name, and format.

thats a good Idea tungston, but I have named them correctly by Downloading other background mods and naming these files the same.

Look for the orgininal files again. I'm trying to find someone to upload the original background, the background can spazz up horribly sometimes and it's quite annoying.
