Zone view, trees stay visible

In the zone view the trees used to dissapear, which allowed for easy planning of roads etc.  Now they don't.  I am trying to remember what I changed about my game.  I switched to a different terrain mod for a secons, but then switched back.  I uninstalled NAm and reinstalled it with a different rail texture.  I installed some new props packs and some buildings.  I really have no clue what the cause is though.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?  I tend to fill the map with trees which makes it now very difficult for me.  Thanks,

eldaldo

Is it just the trees that remain, or are other props staying also? You may be experiencing the new zone view that is an optional item in the newest NAM version. Do you remember selecting the Zone Dat View option when you installed NAM (the last option)? If you did, that is the reason some props (including trees) stay in the view. This was part of a couple view changes that make it easier to place underground networks. If you don't like the effect, you can remove it be removing the file named NetworkAddonMod_Zone_Data_View from the NAM folder.

Of course, if you did not choose that option when installing NAM, then the file wouldn't be there, and your issue is something else.
