Can SimCity 4 run in Windows 7?

I'm getting a new computer (MacBook) this May or so. I'm planning to run Boot Camp with Windows 7. Does SimCity 4 run in Windows 7, or will I have to downgrade or something to Windows XP?

Simcity 4 does run on Windows 7, running it on a laptop (PC).

Yeah totally. I have an HP Pavilion with win7 on it and it runs fine! I have yet to actually run into a problem where a program will not run with win7.

Yup i should work perfectly fine. There might be one or two crashes but it will go smoothly.

Was running reasonably well on an HP with Win 7 until my system completely crashed with a virus infection. After wiping my hard drive and having to reinstall SC4, have not been able to get it to run. Maybe you'll have better luck on a MacBook.

It's pretty good here for me, too. The only thing is the LAG I get. Anyway, it's normal. Even when I had XP. I heard it was a shadow thing.

I use Windows 7 64-bit and my SC4 crashes sometimes, albeit not often. It didn't crash when I had Windows XP.

That's beacause you have got a Dual Core processor, my computer stopped crashing when i turned one of my processors off, when i played the game.
