Problem with BAT Nightlight update

Ieks, I installed an (regular?) update with EP2 (Europe) and then the BAT Update for nightlights.. But they still never show up O_O. Is there an EP2 update for the BAT or something..? I can't find that..

Yes, look for the "Sim City 4 Buildings Update" on this page. You will also need that.

It also possible that you haven't ran the game for atleast 30 days on day mode. Then you can switch to night mode to see your BATS light up.

@ Xyloxadora: "Your game must be updated to EP1Update1 (1.1.638.0) before installing this file" - I had to install EP2, because I have the European version of the game.. Though I updated that update succesfully already, without result. So I guess I need a EP2 version or so.

@ Nuclear550: Tried it, didn't help .

Check your sc4 patch log to see why it isn't patching properly.. if you are using a "no cd" cheat or have modified the file with AFFINITY etc it will fail.. It must be exactly as distributed on the install CD.

Where is my 'patch' log.. And I have a cd and things.

To be honest I forgot since I installed mine about 4 years ago, but as I recall it was in the "Simcity 4" directory in the "My Docs" folder.. perhaps someone will correct me if this is wrong. It is actually titled something like "patch.log" or close to that.
