@jim546: first thanks for your helpfull commentand the compliments

you right, there are really not enough taxiways, and the slip-offs I've forgotten. But enough place to pass at the getes is everytime, I always test it with an A380-Lot...

I don't participate in these "Show Us Your" threads as much as I would like, but I have two airports to showcase to you all. Since I've come a ways in building them, I find these to be my best.

First off, my largest international airport which is showcased in my City Journal, Follomer 2| Union.

And next, a much smaller regional airport with few gates.

South Shore Regional.

That's it for me, tell me what you think!

@Archean: I definately think that you should participate on this thread more often... Both are different but nice airports, and crossing runways are always nice to see. Just one suggestion, if you want maximum realism, try working on the runway touchdown markings by watching some different airports on Google Earth.

Great job you and all the others!

Archean:  Nice airports, I particularly like the first one.

A small airport I'm working on:

A region shot for perspective:

I like the area it's placed in on the region view. Fits in very well! Though the airport itself looks like it's overused. I'd think of that as a regional strip with just a few gates that serves prop planes and small jets.

Here's my newest work:

It's a small regional airport with the ability to handle only three turboprops at any given time and a total capacity of just 450 passengers. It's still a work in progress since I still have to fill in some grass, etc. but I'm pretty happy with it ATM.

TekindusT: Maybe just some white markings would do the trick, since, from what I hear, there are already diagonal runway pieces being worked on.

Well Josh: Most I had actally i did a lot of overwriting files that you gave me. The main things I got to work were the aircraft at gates and the planes on the taxiways and some other stuff. Thanks again. Ill come over again. lol

WHAT THIS "First" Airport Looked like... then I did some editing to it to make it look a bit better.

Bradon your taxi ways are too close to the runway. Your Concources are too close, because those jets can't taxi out

Hey Guys/Gals again. I hope some of you liked my first airport ever made (a few posts aove this) Now i bring you a little international airport called La Forte Simla'e International. Weird name huh? The reason why its called that is that a 1800's fort was built along the coastal waterways to procect the sims of San Lana City from the evil British-isims. The residents of San Lana city ha a great army with a great fort to protect the soldiers and then the commercial development and residential development took over the settlements and had an airport built behind the fort. So thats my "pretend" story of the airport.

OVERVIEW;

PLEASE NOTE I DID MAKE THIS AIRPORT QUICKLY AND THIS IS NOT MY BEST DESIGN (Not even close)... So just bare with my quicky little airport.

@Brandon5730Pilot: I have a couple questions for you... I love designing airports in simcity and try to make them as real as possible. So help me out, Please!! 4.gif

1) How did you get real world planes to replace the game defualt planes for taking-off/landing and flying? Check out the AC Team Creations at SC4Devotion

2) How did you get the planes to appear on the taxiways? Check out the AC Team Creations at SC4Devotion

3) Your terminals, what packs did you download? Check out the AC Team Creations at SC4Devotion

Please let me know what sites I need to look at to do this or if you have any custom steps that you did to complete this.

Thanks for your assistance!

EDIT: If anyone still has some insight into these questions feel free to give your answers!!
