Thanks guys. I'm trying my best to get the content out onto the exchanges ASAP. The approval process on SC4D is slowing me up at the moment (I have a backlog of mostly-completed projects actually), but I'll have A300 Jetways, Dash-8 Turboprops lots, A310 Mayor-Mode Plops, A330-200 Mayor-Mode Plops, the new small hangar and the non-branded hangars out soon.

Get ready for an explosion of content. 9.gif (caveat empdor - it's not entirely inside my control)

I might think about jumping some of the things onto the STEX before they're approved on the SC4D LEX - perhaps the generic hangars would be a good candidate for that, I know they're quite well in-demand. As always, if there's something you want to see, you can post in our request threads on SC4D, or send me a PM here, or post in this thread.

I don't know about the terminals (and it's Joel, by the way - no harm done), but a US Airways hangar is certainly something I can look at. Do you know the one in Philadelphia?

Also, I'm about to release a prop pack of hangars - derived from the hangars I showed in my earlier post - but without any Air New Zealand signs, they are set up so that planes can be put inside of the hangar, which you could use with US Airways planes to build your US Airways maintenance area.

thank you , i really didn't know anything about L R 35 26 or  any runaway symbols and meanings, i just put as eyecandy, but i will check the right positions to next airport and even to fix this one.  By the way you could tell me please where did u get those planes on taxi way and hangars of your airport?

Im only 30 nm north of Philly airport. My local municipal airport is Trenton Mercer (KTTN) 4.gif & at PAULMC i got most of it from Simtropolis search airports and download mainly everything you see about airports (Download required depencies are a must)  Taxiways and hangars are from SimTrop and some "stuff" is from SC4 Devotion

OK, well, maybe if you ever get a chance, you could take some pictures of that US Airways hangar? That would really, really help me to BAT it accurately. Trying to work off Google Street View is quite difficult. Right now I'm BATting a hangar of Virgin Blue Airlines (the Australian-based carrier), at Brisbane airport.

If I may suggest some constructive ideas checoloma... One, the red "golden gate" suspension bridge is out of place in conjunction with the runway placement. Planes would/could crash into the towers of the bridge as they land or takeoff. Second, consider taking some of the planes out of the gate area for more realism and just leave empty gates. When was the last time you saw an airport that had every gate filled? Otherwise... very nice.

checoloma: Your airport is very well done, and very large indeed. To help make it have a bit more realism is to plop a few unoccupied gates long your terminals here and there, to simulate actual usage, as in some planes will be at their gates, and others will be either taking off, landing or still in the air. Also, pay close attention to how close you plop gates next to each other. I've noticed one strip has several small and larger sized planes next to each other and those wings look like they could scrape each other if one of em taxis out.

Great work on it nonetheless! And that terminal entrance is magnificent as well.

Okay well I've shown my largest airport in here before, but because of a Harddrive wipe, I lost it, and have had to rebuild it. So I'll show my new one, abbreviated STK.

My first ever completed airport (and it's set for expansion later 3.gif)

Saint Johannes International (STJ for short)

Start of runway 27R (currently there's only 2 runways 27R/09L, reason: I'm waiting for RMIP-3 to be released before making 27L/09R )

STJ2.jpg

09L had to have a displaced threshold due to the farms, it lead to an interesting taxiway system

I think the amount of 747s used is unrealistic add some 777 767 and a330 or a340. a380 is unrealistic for your airport

Even an a340 or 30 might be too big for the runway.

I had an overview shot but for some reason it didn't work properly :/

Eitherway with the exception of the KLM Terminal all terminals are in the same building.

Most flights from here go to Europe, several to the North American continent and some go to Asia.

interesting indeed! I love the development of a smaller airport, into a larger airport!

I was just wondering, on the side note, which airport set(s) are you using?

@frdm9209.gifghh70 is right, any 747 could hit the UDI apron.

Hey guys.

Well I took alittle plane spotting trip to Philly the other day and I realized my airports are lacking absolute realism.

I have to change that.

After scrutinizing my airport from the ground up, I added some things to my airport.

First, between seeing KPHL terminal F and playing FSX, I noticed all of the ground traffic that goes on. So I tweaked the Airport Roads abit and added busses.

Also I finished a Satelitte terminal I never completed. Its entended to be a terminal for Cardinal Airlines, but I dont know how to create it using BAT. So it just has Privat Air

Still a work in progress. Feedback is appreciated

Josh6: In your last picture, the roadways seem too close to the taxiways, wouldn't vehicles using that get clipped by the wings of passing aircraft? Also, it seems to be a tight squeeze to get the Olympic A340 past the small ERJ/CRJ behind it on its way to the gate. I have to say that buses add a lot of realism to your airport.
