Problems Loading Maps in SC4RH

I am having problems loading maps with my copy of SC4 Rush Hour. I have searched everywhere on both Simtropolis.com, and SC4 Devotion for an answer and couldn't find any, so I need someone to try and help me get it working.

I have tried loading the regions I want the old fashioned way (load the region in SC4, hit Ctrl, Alt, Shift + R, load image), but that doesn't want to do it for me. It just sits there and does nothing. I have also tried using SC4 Terra Former (which doesn't want to work at all on my PC), and SC4 Mapper (again, which doesn't want to work at all on my PC). I know SC4 Mapper is the light version of SC4 Terra Former, so I would they are related issues.

Can anyone help me?

I am running Windows XP, and have plenty of spare RAM to run the game comfortably. I have no plugins installed when I try and load the regions. Also, could someone tell me what SC4 Terra Former actually uses (Flash, .Net, etc) so I can try an eliminate them as problems.

The requirements are fully explained in the documentation for TF and I think Mapper as well.. if you have those requirements properly loaded, the programs work fine. If you load the regions from "somewhere else" (where the files are stored) they will ONLY save to the standard My Docs/../regions folder, so be sure to look there if you are starting from another folder. I have used it and thought it failed because I forgot to go there for the result. 4.gif

Make sure the grayscale.jpg is a true 8 bit, 256 color, and in jpeg format.

You need all of the DirectX 9 files listed in the readme for SC4T, or the Mapper.

It's ok, I went through the steps for SC4 Terra Former again, and found the problem. I was missing one of the dll files that should have been included with my copy of DirectX. Had to re-download it in order to install it properly. Thanks for your help guys!
