You may have heard of the ST trivia.  The game that's hit the chat. Well, this is the ST Trivia Forum edition. Points earned in here will be added to the ST trivia game. Scores will be merged at un-announced times, so please do not be alarmed if your score is gone from the High scores list.

How to play?
Simple. the Host... ME... will post two questions, one in green, one in blue. You can answer either one, or both if you wish.
Each question will have a number infront of it, this number signifies how many points that particular question is worth.
Bonus questions in red will be worth a random amount of points, whoever answers will not know how many points they will be recieving.
roll play Questions in Pink, Trivia will give you a situation, you respond. those who respond FIRST with a correct answer, get the points.
NEW: Trivia is now presenting flashback questions, in purple. these can be answered by reviewing previous Trivia questions. (chat and forum included)
Extras: there will also be extra questions at the end in black.
The catch?
Questions in red MIGHT have a negative point value, meaning instead of gaining points you will loose them.
Why bother with red?
Because you can earn anywhere from -10 to 40 points.

Olympic, Titanic, and Britannic (which was originally named Gigantic) got their names from Greek mythology, all meaning they evoked a large size and strength.

EDIT: Yes Cjah, I do 3.gif

    1. Mooring post for zeppelins

?. The White Star line decided to build three identical ships, from the one set of plans that the Harland and Wolff company was preparing. These ships were later given the names Titanic, Olympic, and Britannic.

It was common for steamship companies to build several ships from the same plans. A lot of money was saved since the engineers only had to draw up one set of drawings. And more important, it allowed steamship lines to offer balanced weekly service.

Of course, as the ships are built, the newer ships are modified to improve on the earlier ones. Olympic came out in 1911, and when the Titanic made her maiden voyage in 1912, several changes were made in the latter ship's design including the addition of more luxury suites and enclosing the forward Promenade deck.

The third ship, named Britannic, was heavily modified in light of the Titanic disaster, with additional watertight bulkheads and new lifeboat arrangements.

    1: what's Wal*marts slogan?
    1. what WAS McDonald's slogan?

the answer to the pervious one:
harland and woolf knew Ismay A would be the headliner, so they gave her the name of the greatest of all, the olympics, or Olympic.
They allowed the ships' owner, Mr Bruce J. Ismay, to name the seccond ship, the rival of the Olympics, but huge in one, the Titans, or, Titanic. Gigantic was to be a great come-back to the loss of Titanic, and a comeback for the company's reputation, she was to be the ship of Britain, or Britannic.
