Kc got robbed. Stupid penalty let the texans get their last TD, and wth happened to our D? One week they make Manning look bad and the next they allow 400+ yards and 21 points in the 4th quarter. How does SD lost to the Rams? the Rams! And if Shaun Hill wouldnt've gotten hurt, the Lions would have beat the Giants, I have a feeling the Lions are going to be good soon, just need to get into a winning swing. I don't even feel like finding my record this week, it can't be pretty.

When you hear the phrase "drives off cliff" it usually dont end well.

i fell off a cliff once when i was 12 or 13. 40 foot fall and a busted knee but no broken bones. luckily i landed in a dry river bed that was still muddy so that dampened the impact of the fall.

Is it just me or are the Titans' uniforms different?  Specifically, are their pants made of a different material and are their names written in a different font on their jerseys?

It's a nice color scheme.  It just seems different from the other teams'.

(I need MJD to have a good night for my fantasy team to win and it just isn't happening so I thought I'd babble about the Titans' uniforms instead.  3.gif)

Hehe All i need was for  jacksonville to score so my opponent didn't get the shut out bonus.

Looks like a throw back to an old Houston Oilers uniform.

Now back to the rangers up 3-0 in game 3

Now for my rant concerning the absolutely horrid officiating this week.  I'm getting real sick and tired of officiating crews blatantly ignoring clear fouls.  Here are three instances that come to mind.

    1. Last week at Washington a Redskins defender had a helmet to helmet hit on Rodgers while recording a sack, a mirror copy of what Zombo did to Cutler a couple of weeks earlier where the official was looking right at it, but failed to toss the flag.

    2. Yesterday, a Miami defender clearly pushed a Packer reciever to the ground down field in front of an official who was looking right at the two, resulting in an incompletion, but again, no flag for pass interference.

    3.  Later in the game, a Miami pass rusher [Wade or Wake, whatever his name is] came at Rodgers, with head down and nailed Roders in the chest with his helmet while two officials just casually stood there and watched with their fingers up their 'bleeps.'  Yet again, no flag for an obviously blatant foul.

There have been many, many other instances in other games I've watched where pass rushers hit the QB long after the ball has been released and there have been no flags thrown because the ignorant and brain dead officials just stand around like a bunch a babbling idiots.  And the NFL wonders why so many players, mainly QBs, are dropping like flies with concussions.

Of course, after yesterday where players were carried off the field from head-to head hits, one that I know of in the Eagles game and the two in the Steelers game where flags were flying around like confetti, now becomes a problem.  Not only should the NFL suspend and fine these players for those type of hits, but they should also suspend or fire the officials who ignore obvious fouls.

No wonder why there is so much parity in the NFL this year, the officials don't know how to officiate, or they've picked their favorites and screw everyone else.

Agree or disagree with me, but facts are facts and the officials on the field are doing a piss-poor job this season.

KC-Seems like the kind of team that wins the games its supposed to win. Comparisons to the old Patriots teams are accurate IMO.

ATL- Cincy can't win close games versus Cleveland and Tampa: Thats a red flag.

NO-Saints are struggling but this seems like a no brainer.

    TB-STL is a mess.

SF-Battle of trainwrecks, SF isn't better but carolina is worse.

PIT-Liking the steelers this year. With or without harrison.

CHI-Redskins weak D will help the bears woes. maybe they will only let up like 4 sacks this time.

BAL-Ravens bounce back from a tough loss.

PHI-Philly is getting it done regardless of whose QB right now. Thats a sign of a good team.

DEN-Seems like a potential trap game?

SEA-Dark horse in the NFC West. First team to .500 takes the division?

NE-Two vintage patriots wins in a row have me convinced that this is a legitimate Patriots team.

GB-Both teams are desperate for a win, both teams are loaded with talent, both teams should be better than their records. But I take the Packers because they have a much more functional team.

Oh my goodness...7:58 left in the 2nd quarter and Oakland is beating the living tar out of Denver 38-0. Major ouchness for Denver. Something told me to pick Oakland, but no, had to go with Denver like a fool. Oh well, if Seattle and New England hold onto their leads, I'll be 9-3 so far this week.

Denver sucks, they can't stop the run at all. Remember the game that kept them out of the playoffs last year? Sure it's a different year, but they obviously have some of the same problems, McFadden ran all over them. I thought the scoreboard was wrong when it said 24-0 in the first quarter though, they got stomped.

Cowboys are done, With Romo out with a broken collor bone, they will be lucky if they win 4 this season.

Kitna has nothing left, time for Magee?

Kitna did alright near the end of the game, but I do agree that the Cowboys are going to have a rough time of it until Romo comes back.  Another thing is that Kitna hasn't gotten any snaps in practice and hasn't played in two years...I think once he gets some practice under his belt he'll settle in.  Also, the rest of the offense didn't help him much last night either, so it's not all on his shoulders.  The offense is going to have to step up to the plate as well, because they sure didn't last night.20.gif
