Game Crashes

I think this may be unique to me. If this has happened before, I am sorry and please direct me to the right place.

Anyway, I have been playing with a city for a while now. I can load the city, and play in it, and then when I want to save it would crash. Here is the kicker...today when I was playing, I was saving like crazy, say every 10 mins. I was able to save the city 5 times, but when I tried to save one more time, it crashes.

What gives?

I know this won't be much help (I never really am much help), but since you've implied that the majority of the crashing is when attempting to save, do you have all available patches and updates installed? Update 1 and Update 2. Have any of the city tiles ever become corrupted? Have you installed any new plugins recently? Have you tried playing without them (in a new city)? Has it always been crashing at saves, or is this just a recent development?

What operating system are you running by the way? I can't help but be curious.

SimCity 4 is updated.

The city that crashed is probably corrupted now since I can't save properly.

I have installed some plugins recently, but I have used them before.

I have started a new city, and was able to save the quit the game properly.

This has never happened before in all the years I have been playing, but I have been having minor problems with both SC4, Civ4, and TS3 since I installed Win Vista.

Okay, troubleshooting time! Thanks anyway.
