Hello. My city was working perfectly until suddenly I see No Water Zots all over the place. I checked my pipes and pumps but they were working fine. I lay pipes ever 2 blocks of 4x4. Does anyone know why this is happening? All these abandoned buildings make me sad.

When your city gets large enough it will need more water. Build more pumps and it will fix the problem. Also if your pumps are old they stop working and you will have to rebulid them.

Also...

You might check polution levels. If the water sources are in a heavily poluted area, efficiency drops. Just a thought...

My water capacity is twice as much as the amount in use. I also used a treatment center, but that didn't change anything.

Is it possible that the city lost electrical power for a short time, if that happens the water pumps lose power and stop pumping?

That's possible as I was redoing my power plants, but I added a new plant and nothing happened. It seems like the radius of my pipes shrank.

If the pump lost power it might take some time to "recoup".

If they lost power, use the build pipes tool and click on a pipe that already exists. That works for me...
