I decided to open up a new lot editor thread to hopefully improve and get some new ideas. This is my very first lot that I created so tell me what you guys think and what I might be able to improve on.

I'm also not sure if i should keep on working on park lots or what so again if anyone has any suggestions list them here.

This is a very good start for your first lot. Some water features (fountains / water) would go well in the open areas. It is good that the park is symmetrical as this makes it look pleasing to look at (very important for parks). I like the idea of you making parks as there aren't enough good parks in game.

Thanks, I agree with there not being enough parks in the game, thats why I came up with this one. I'll probably keep working on more park/plaza lots.

Here's now my second upload to the STEX. It's another park but is on a 4x4 lot with increased park effect and desiribility.

Still taking any ideas for new lots that I could try. =P

With parks one suggestion is to be careful where you put the paths that go off the edges of the lot. If you think ahead you can make all your parks inter-connectable by placing the paths so that they touch the edge of the lot at exactly the same place on each one. That way in the game you can join several of them up seamlessly.

Well, see it positively - this opens the door e.g. for 2x2 transition pieces that will connect all your park lots and make them a set.

Yeh, that was what I was thinking of doing adding a 2x2 park lot that could be compatable with the rest of the park lots that I have uploaded, that way you could connect the different parks to make larger ones.

For my next upload that I'm working on will be my first BAT. I'm just learning the ropes of it right now and I'm thinking of making a public library because in my opinion the Maxis libraries are the worst of them all. Also, since this is going to be my first BAT, it'll probably take me a while to make (sorry for anyone who has been waiting for this(most likely nobody haha =P)). If anyone has any suggestions for my first BAT just post them here. Thanks.
