G'day boys and girls, this is my first lot, it is suppose to be a military checkpoint.  I made this a couple of months ago for my Mexican regions with no intention tor release it, as I thought it was pretty simple, but after seeing some poor uploads with similar purposed I decided that it may be better to what is out there. The lot has police stats and it is transit enable with military and police cars randomly appearing. This is suppose to represent the military checkpoints that, unfortunately, have become quite common in Mexico. I don't how to change stats so I used the SMN guard station as the base for the lot. I made 2 versions with small differences, here are the pics, let me know what you think, suggestions on how to improve it are wellcome... many thanks!!! sccheckpoints.jpgsccheckpoint2.jpg

I think it is a good start to a lot.

Some barriers would be a good addition to stop cars from cutting around the side or you could park the cars on the sides.

It would be good to slightly move the three cones (closest on picture) to align with the yellow lines on the road.

I agree that the sign could be changed as it is a little too big.

Other than that it is a good lot. The green army cars are good and they may go well with some tanks.

Thank you for posting as we can now help you improve your lots.

ok aligned the cones better and added some portable lamps, worn out textures and took rid of the sidewalk, but how can I get rid of the automatic sidewalk that appears next to the lot when I plop it, and also how can I stop plopped cars from appearing/disappearing or at least change the frequency....?

hittwice99: this kind of checkpoints are to search for drugs so no need for tanks or heavy weapons, all you see in these checkpoints are some army personal with machine guns and a couple hummers armed with machine guns, sometimes the army works in collaboration with the federal police thats why I added some police cars, but unfortunately they appear at different times to the military vehicles...
