I like it. Good interchanges and nice improvement with the rhw and cities :thumb: Very cool and realistic.

    @Schulmanator: Oh yeah, and that's the thing with RHW...

    @testuser1234: Thanks!

    @richardye1: If you are talking about the interchanges in the previous update, i used the RHW mod and my brain to contruct them.

    Today will be a small update. This past week, the UCCRL's "E" line was extended from Bradenson(And that station demolished) first to Macton/Hwy.43 and then to Sykesville, adding about 8 miles of track to the national rail network.

    Here is the Macton/Hwy. 43 station. This one is unusual because it is built within the right-of-way of a highway.

    uccrl5.jpg

    And the Sykesville station. There are no plans to extend the line any furthur after this.

    uccrl6.jpg

    Hope you all enjoyed this update, have a good day!

    @vivapanda: We have some in California too(I.e. BART runs through I-580 and CA 24 in the East Bay and The Gold Line runs through I-210 in Pasadena).

    Just a newspaper today, to show UC Airways' progress over the year.

    Enjoy!

    None!

    Hey everyone sorry for the downtime-Real Life Syndrome. However, tonight, i finally got the time to post an update.

    We will be looking at Astoria at night.

    Traffic goes into the tunnel under the airport, as a Air Tron plane lands(Sorry for the bad-looking plane: had to be GIMPed). Noise is not an issue here because the airport does not service large planes(Like the ones UC Airways operates).

    astoria1.jpg

    Part of the port. Did I ever say that the Port of Astoria is the busiest port in the world in terms of amount of mail freight traded per capita?

    astoria2.jpg

    And finally....

    astoria3.jpg

    Enjoy the update!

    Like the tunnel under the airport!

    Pics overall look really great at night.

    Thanks for sharing :)

    Oh, do you happen to know where I could get any good underpasses that work with the new NAM?

    @Schulmanator: Thanks!

    @mrblisterdude:Thanks! And it's bigger. I've been to the real Astoria, Oregon, but I was 4 at the time, so I don't remember anything.

    @daybreak: Oh yeah, lots of airports around the world have that feature(Better than Gibralter). I did it for realism.

    @titanicbluff: Thanks!

    So, for the update. We'll look at the small community of Bluepalm, located west of Northridge. It lies right on the Boston Beltway(Aka Hwy. 455) although by this time, the freeway has transitioned to an at-grade expressway.

    Several lots have been set aside for building a resort hotel complex to boost tourism here. Some amenilites of the complex will be an indoor pool, conference center, gymnasium, and 4-star restruant on site.

    bluepalms1.jpg

    It's now time to begin construction! Each building area is fenced off and prepared for construction.

    bluepalms2.jpg

    Soon, two of the buildings begin to rise up out of the dirt. The third was built after I took the photo.

    bluepalms3.jpg

    (You can see more construction was also going on in the town).

    Finally, whalla! Who wants to have a beachside hotel room with a private balcony?

    bluepalms4.jpg

    Enjoy the update! Next time, we'll check out progress on the RHWvolution!

    @fernando.arquiteto: It's all Maxis stuff, believe it or not

    @Schulmanator: Thanks!

    @StanislavSoltys: Thanks!

    @titanicbluff: Thanks!

    Sorry that today's update is late. The reason is RL again, but also because I neglected SimCity for a while(Angry Birds again). But here's the promised update on the RHWvolution!

    This was a Maxis diamond:

    rhwvolution-4.jpg

    This was a Maxis T. This was difficult to construct iniatlly due to slope problems.

    rhwvolution-5.jpg

    Also a Maxis diamond. This one was hard due to the railline, but I improvised with my skills.

    Hope you enjoyed the update!
