SC4 Crashes to Desktop

Please help. sim city crashes to the desk top usualy after i build things in a certain place. For, ex... ill place

a road in the spot belowVVV and the game will crash, however it most other places in that city i can make a hundred roads and nothing will happenn.

This also happens in every other city in my region. any help???

Also, im pretty shure its not  plugin related, i tryd taking everything out of my plugin folder and it was still the same.

Ive also just moved to a new computer, i copied my region aand plugins on a dick and moved them to it. could that be the problem?

After installing the game to your new computer, did you install the game patch(es). I don't remember if there was a fix for this specific issue, but it could be something to try. The patch is available at the official site or at SC4Devotion (use the Support tab)..

I never installed the patches on the old one and it worked fine

That is one wierd error,if it doesn't effect any other regions then maybe that region

got corrupt on the file transfer.

If you still have a backup try copying it over again.

Try reinstalling the game if needed.

I am having the same problem.  Crashes to desktop, not even necessairily after i just built something.

If i re-install the RH patch, will it affect the plugins?

The patch can be installed & should not effect any plugins.
