Help with Regional Airports

 I have read a few people asking this question in various other forum threads, but I have never really seen an answer for it. Is there a mod or anything that will make airports more regional? It's a pain to have to put an airport in every city (or every adjacent city). Is there a mod that will make an airport available to be used by the entire region? Thank you.

Unforuntently there is not a mod to make ariports regional, and there never will be due to how the game works. If you want an airport you will have to put one in each city.

There are smaller alternitives like this 1x1 airport tram if you dont want to have a full airport, It acts the same as a real airport, but just in one city like the old airports
