Well, some weapons types are exceptions, such as Nuclear explosives, artillery railgun, though rail weapons are few and far between on Earth. So are beam weapons. But most commonplace weapons are deflected.

It, takes a lot of power to operate though, It can only be used every several hours or so.quote>

What better to give a lesser advanced people than the basic technology the more so advanced has? Keeps them still lesser than the higher, but advances their technology level considerably.

Don't look at me, Wright Industries operates above board on all of it's weapons programs, though we did take note of a few, annomalies in the accounting parctices of Norwell Hucks during our Acuisition of them followng the 29 hour war.

Chancellor Tristan never seems to be out of harms way, and no one has seen Tessa since the explosion. And even though temporarily hidden from his foes underground, his shadowy benefactor stands just across the bay, staring down his impenetrable fortress standing tall before the city.

Good luck assuring them that the guns are only for protection... I wonder what they would say if a Myonian ship showed up at the station... they all have some form of weapons system, even the passenger transport ships. (Though the weapons are limited to railguns)

The sun set once again, and darkness fell, but that's never a problem with this city.

Tristan before a computer console looking at the video feed of a fighter jet  in the air. He watched the video feed of the land going by in a night vision green tint.

Phoenix Pilot: Negative visual so far.

Chancellor Tristan: Keep scanning, they came from somewhere.

Phoenix Pilot: Yes sir, continuing sweep.

Tristan then turned around and faced Trellian and Panin, who were doing their own thing.

Chancellor Tristan: Tell me any of you have something.

Trellian looked up from another computer terminal standing behind its occupant and shook his head. Panin looked up from a datapad that was given to her by another assistant and also shook no. Tristan sighed and folded his arms.

Chancellor Tristan: Those missiles came from somewhere, how hard can it be to find where they launched from?

Commander Trellian: Sir, those missiles were military grade, and powerful. They could have been launched from an off shore vessel or Virgin Shores for all we know.

Vice Chancellor Panin: We can't rely on Radar scans. They completely evaded being detected by several listening posts all around the city. I don't know if we'll ever find out where they came from Tristan.

Tristan sighed again and began to pace.

Chancellor Tristan: What...what about my daughter? Where's Tessa?

Commander Trellian: Oh! Sorry for not saying something sooner sir, one of my men radioed in saying  he was with Tessa near ground zero. They're also with your wife and Lerra. They're safe inside the Government building.

Chancellor Tristan: Good, I want a Raven ready to take me there in ten minutes, understood? I don't want to be separated from my family again.

Trellian nodded and turned away and unclipped a radio from his waist. Tristan lowered his head and rubbed his eyes with his fingers, moving them to the bridge of his nose. Panin walked over and put a hand on his shoulder.

Vice Chancellor Panin: Are you okay Tristan?

Chancellor Tristan: Why Panin? Why must running this country be so damn hard? Why is there always someone trying to wreak havoc?

Vice Chancellor Panin: We'll find a way to fix this. Don't worry.

Chancellor Tristan: One day our people will have a new start...somehow.

Rua sat on one of the benches, still staring at the OMI tower across the water. He felt the cold breeze of the air hit his face as he relentlessly stared down the momument to Follomer's military might. He then raised his watch up and looked at the time, letting out a sigh. He then pulled out a flashlight from his pocket and set it on his lap.

Rua: Well...let's see how this goes.

Industry Warehouse

Just outside St. Krist city, north of Downtown

Late night traffic buzzed by the warehouse. Everyone was heading home after a long day. Inside the warehouse, one man was still at work, as he called it, as he sat down before a large computer monitor, and looked over it's many programs. He then cracked his knuckles and typed in several commands before hovering his fingers over the enter key.

???: God giveth...

His finger then came down on the key, setting the commands in motion.

???: And God taketh away... Ha, ha ha! Ha ha ha ha!!

OMI Building

Commander Trellian: Raven will be prepped on the pad in five minutes sir, I'll accompany you to the government building-

The lights suddenly went out all around them and everything lost power.

Assistant 1: What the hell??

Assistant 2: We lost power, everything's out!

After a minute, power then returned to the room, and the rest of the building. The island's backup generators kicked into action as the central computer detected a cutoff of imported power from the city. Tristan looked around, confused.

Chancellor Tristan: What?? A power surge ontop of everything that happened today?

Trellian then heard a report over his radio and told the assistant at the terminal to bring up a security cam feed of outside.

Commander Trellian: Sir...that wasn't a surge, you need to look at this.

Tristan walked over to Trellian and stared at the image.

Chancellor Tristan: ...oh no.

A day every American will remember, as well as numerous people around the world will.

9 years ago this day, the two most iconic buildings in the United States were destroyed before the eyes of millions,

and took over 3,000 innocents with them. It was the most devastating attack on American soil in years, and will

remain in the hearts of Americans as a painful scar.

Today, we remember the buildings lost, the innocent souls taken too early, and the Emergency crews that responded

to the tragedy, and some that didn't come back. Even though we don't have the power to bring those we lost back to us, we can, and will always remember in our hearts and minds.

And from the ashes of the past icons, rise greater monuments.

Let us always remember together, for united we stand.

Follomer 2 is now closed permanently

September 17th, my laptop got hit hard by a Trojan virus which foiled my every attempt at ridding it from my system. Because of this, I had no choice but to wipe my harddrive and return it to the factory default. Everything simcity is gone. My regions, my plugins, everything. Because of this, Follomer is discontinued until I can reinstall Simcity4, and become prepared for my next City Journal, which will be titled Follomer 3| Exodus. I had hoped to have the story transition smoothly from 2 to 3, but since I lost everything, that's not possible anymore.

I hope you enjoyed what I had given you all on 2 so far. From now on this thread will be locked, but not deleted so you can look back on it.

It's been fun, so lets hope I can return to City Journaling status and make a comeback with Follomer 3.

After I had to do the harddrive wipe and lost all my work, I remembered a few days later I had a backup of all my files for when I transferred them over to my laptop. Consequence was that it was a year old. So it was relatively pointless to use it.

Now after all this time, I've looked back at it and figured, why the heck not? I'll just rebuild it to the best of my ability! And I've already started. I've rebuilt the airport and most of the capital city. Which means I could very well return to Follomer 2's story! Going right where we left off. I'll warn you though, many changes to the city have been made so it'll have to do. But still, I've got my Follomer back!
