So yes, I'm really back from the dead with this one. I really thought it wouldnt be worth it/pointless to try and rebuild all that I lost with that region, but now I'm actually making progress. Most of the Capital Metro area is reestablished, and I have a teaser of the area for you.

(Note: Development seen from now on is different than before since I can't recreat what I've built.)

And now, I'd like to introduce all of you to the newly rebuilt, Saint Krist Uniden International Airport, servicing the Saint Krist Metropolitan area with domestic and International flights.

Great to see this CJ returning.  That's a spectacular looking airport too!  I can's wait to see how you've re-done the city itself.

Thank you for your comments on the aiport! It's good to have Follomer back. I'm glad you enjoyed the aiport, so now you get to see the newly completed capital city. Saint Krist.

The in-game total for this tile is a little over 100,000 sims, (however the story total is well over one million), which is due to the fact I'm restricting all maxis residential growth. All residential growth resides in downloaded house lots and relotted apartment buildings that will barely grow on their own despite the RCI demand being maxed out. Nevertheless it's finished. The capital city, sitting on a bay on Follomer's central west coast, has seen much in it's timeline. Government strife, a war, and terror attacks. It's still a shining light of modern development and progressionism.

Returning to glory after the harddrive had to be wiped, Follomer returns to continue telling the story of Chancellor Tristan, his daughter Tessa, and the future of the Follomer nation. From where we left off, the city suffered a blackout the night right after the Chancellor's tower was destroyed by a terrorist missile attack. The whole downtown area is in chaos and fear of uncertainty, and the Chancellor, along with the aid of his most trusted friends, must find a way to end all this, and return peace to his country.

Schulmanator: I'm eager to get back into the groove of things. The other one I'm sure will continue, however this CJ, this region was always my main "event".

Leech10: In my world they do. Planes don't make as much noise as in real life, and plus development up next to the airport makes it look better in the region view.

Reflection Park is a remodeled section of canal south of the downtown area closer to the bay. Remodeled and opened in late of 2010, it was built as a monument to one of the bloodiest and important engagements in the 29 hour war. In the final hours of the Battle of Saint Krist City, Follomer Home Guard troops of the 5th division held the ground north and east of the canal, using it as a barrier against attacking U.S. Marines. The engagement lasted over 2 hours before the 5th Division Guardsmen were relieved by Regular Army reinforcements, forcing the attacking troops to retreat south. 78 guardsmen out of 109 lost their lives defending the canal, keeping the attacking force from reaching downtown. In recognition of their sacrifice, the canal and surrounding plaza was remodeled into a park. On each side of the canal a plaque was placed, telling visitors to look into the water at their reflections, and realize that each reflection seen, was a Guardsman, for each guardsman was a citizen of this city just like everyone else.

The park is free to everyone and has ground light rail access.
