At Crystal Dragon has happened a lot since the last update. A whole new district has been created:  Palmville.
Palmville was -like some other parts of the City Crystal D. a small village on the random of a super fast expanding new city. And like Greenfield and San Chiara it has opened it's door for new inhabitants very late for the (already 4 millions+) city that needed space to expand. Palmville is after San Chiara the secound oldest village in the region. (A very old legend tells that there once has been a dragon that protected the village in wartimes by simply killing everyone who tried to enter the village and the area around it with a weapon. So the people of Palmville had always (more or less) good times... After some times the people gave the dragon an huge crystal as a present......)

There are 4 big traffic routes that lead out of the district, 2 into downtown, the other 2 to San Chiara:

It's a long time ago since the last update.... but here is the Dragon Cities Journal again!

With the ultimate? Update for Crystal Dragon.

The city developed in a very good way, but now it's running out of place to build on. The economical boom continues and will hit the next city that joins the Dragon Cities.....

The city council of Crystal dragon pulled the emergency brake because the whole of the districts Downtown, New Downtown and Crystal City are already full of skyscrapers and the prices for one squaremeter exploded in the last years, like the average height of the buildings. Some sub downtowns grew in the other districts except the old center and Crystal. The city council decided to stop the growing of theese centers by new regulations. The rest of the low density zones is now protected like the "Crystal fields".

4886000 Inhabitants

Growth until the council pulled the emergency brake: 27,6%/year,the economy about 28%

Now to the CJ:

The last district is called Andera and grew around the small village St. Katie.

Here is a nightview of the whole district, Andera Bridge (foreground) St. Katie Buisness estates(next to the bridge) and the central boulevard up to little Moscow (background - left), the Estates at the "Red Boulevard" (background - Middle) up to Rubina Hill (background - right):

Next to the estates tthere is the "Blackshark Boulevard" it's one of the main roads that connects together with the Ontana Boulevard Andera with the Western Industrial District:

If you are following this road you will reach the region around Kingile Road where the crem della crem of the city has buildt their villas....

If you are following the city up to the western industrial district and then turn right two times, the city will change rapidly. You've reached the "Red Boulevard" now.... The people of the city gave this hood faster a name than the council did, so it's called "Little Moscow" and if you look out of the windows of your car you will understand why:

WOW! I'm speechless. I just discovered your journal. How the heck do you this? hehehe ... it takes patience and skill I guess... I like the road textures a lot, the dragon views are simply amazing, and the street view shots are breathtaking! Not my cup of tea in terms of what I would do to enjoy the game, but all I can say is that your creations are unique, powerful to look at and a unique way of playing the game! Congrats for the artist in you, you seem to make this effortless!

@Stef: For Crystal Dragon I've used the Austria 1970, the '75 version is used in my new city below

Another small city joined the Dragon Cities, it's new name is Lónghú (Dragonlake).

You can easily find Lónghú when following the route 5504 from Lzc or the fastlane S34  from Crystal D. up to it's end.

This small city has got about 21500 inhabitants, bu it's growing in a very fast way. So it as got a very pritty downtown around the central park. Some big concerns used the very good position between Crystal D. and LzC to build small trading outposts.

The fastlane S 495 will connect the city directly with Dragon Cliffs in future times....

I've made a trip to Lónghú for takeing some pictures for the major.

I came from Crystal Dragon, travelling along the route 5504 I took a wounderful picture of the first appearing skyline of the city:

If the routes would have a speed limit, I would have arrived too late for this beautyful pic: (But thoose routes get dam narrow at about 240km/h)

Entering the city:

A social project for the homeless was the first thing, I saw: (I think they put the trees around that you do not need to see it)

A lot of beautyful motives can be found in the huge central park area:

At the innerside of this boulevard you can find a large walkway:

There also are 3 Hotels in the city. The "Estates Business hotel" the "LUX" vv

and the "Huatt- Hotel" vv

When it was getting dark we came back into the business district of the city:

haha np, I would say something negative in case you had made a mistake... But i can't find any mistake at all! Of course i disaggree on the style that you use... In all of your citties but that's not a problem... (I mean that we are different on the city plan) .. It's not a problem, cuz everything you do, is almost great... so np )
