Constant Crashes

So the problem is that whenever i get onto Simcity 4, I'm on for about 3 minutes before it crashes. I downloaded some new mods today but I don't think those are the problem since i just recently started using the GLR tracks today and it seems to me whenever I use them it crashes. I'm not sure if its some kind of coincidence or what. Hope anyone can help as soon as possible, thanks.

There you have your answer, the GRL tracks are causing the crashes. Remove them and see how it goes.

Well, the GLR is part of NAM. Is NAM one of the new downloads? There is a known issue with some NAM pieces that causes crashes. It occurs when you have a NAM piece selected and then move over a transit-enabled lot with the cursor. There is no fix for this, but it can be overcome by working carefully. Since you mention GLR in particular, are you using the draggable tracks or the pieces? If the pieces, then your problem could be the NAM crash issue, and you should try using the draggable tracks whenever possible. Let us know...

Yeh I'm using the puzzle pieces mod and i noticed that it was the way you had described that was causing the crash. Thanks for your help and if possible can someone give me a link to the draggable GLR pieces. Thanks again =)

The draggable GLR tracks are part of the current version of NAM. You can find the Starter Piece in the Misc Menu. It looks like a piece that is three tiles long with arrows on either end.

The way it works is to plop the starter piece then, using the regular El-Rail tool, drag tracks away from either section of the starter piece with the arrows. After dragging the tracks for several tiles, you can delete the starter piece. These draggable tracks will cross most of the game's transportation networks, creating the appropriate crossing. They're much easier and quicker to use than the pieces.

in my case i found a solution just download the mod "game coding error fix" in my case it stoped the game from crashing.

That patch has nothing to do with crashes. All it does it mod certain lots deemed by Tropod to be improper in terms of capacities, etc.
