(newb Question) what are essentials for rural areas

 Hi people of simtropolis I know i'm a newb but this is a newb question anyways, what do i need for rural areas to look good. If anyone can can they post a picture of a sucessful rural area I would greatly appreciate it.

I dunno if you already downloaded some stuff for rural areas .. if not, you should have a look at anything like (ploppable) rives, ponds, plants, ... there's quite some stuff at the STEX and LEX, and also over at simpeg.com (Pegasus'  home)

At the LEX, you might search for stuff of chrisadams ... or have a look at the "Rural Renewal Project" thread over at sc4devotion (https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=2352.0) - there you will find some links to rural stuff, as well as some ideas of how to create rural areas.

Also, I really like these plugins for my rural areas:

* PEG pond kit with the ploppable rocks for creating realistic waterways (you might also try the Mountain Pack Theme)

* Troica's rural roads

* Rural variety pack for different farms

* BSC Farm Rewards, Irrigation Canals...

Search for "rural" or "farm" on the STEX and you'll find some great content to make realistic farming areas.
