How to get downloaded regions into the game?

Sorry, i'm new here and I don't know how to get a downloaded region into the game so I can play on it. Any help?

Well, I'm no Simcity Master, but the region you download should be a folder, or maybe a file.  Either way, I'd guess you go to My Computer, then to the place that has Program Files ( might be (C: ) drive for most).  From there, go to Program Files, then Maxis, then Simcity 4, then there should be a folder called Regions.  In there should be some folders with names of some Simcity 4 Region names inside.  That's where the file(s) go(es).  Hope that helps.

All downloaded maps should come with a readme file which tells you step by step the procedure. You will need SC4 Terraformer or SC4 Mapper programs (there are no big differences between them, both available in the STEX) and export the *.sc4m file you will find in the downloaded region to the program in order to get the map on it and create an in-game region. Everything is in the read-me's.

Here's a tutorial on how to do it... Note that regions need to go in the Documents/SimCity 4/Regions folder, not the one through the Program Files route.
