Hi Sky Guy, I'm Simbro_08

I'm totally interested in your BATs and I myself am trying BAT right now. I'm doing this because I'd like to create a CJ based on a South East Asian Filipino city.

The problem I have is that there aren't enough or hardly any SEA buildings available, no Filipino, no Malay, hardly any Thai or Vietnamese houses, buildings in general and thats where I got the inspiration to try BAT for myself so I can create Spanish/Filipino era buildings, SEA buildings etc. I've actually done a front wall of a house which I'd like to use. Its my first project, its kinda rough right now, but I'm getting the hang of everything now.

The only frustration about batting is that there's hardly any tutorials, no video tutorials on creating GMAX and if you ask people around, most of them but a few don't even want to help you out. Just try to answer you quickly so you can go. It's disappointing becaue I'm really enthusiastic about BAT and I want to BAT, but all this cold shoulder treatment isn't really helping me.

Anyway, if you're still interested in South East Asian Arhitecture, then please let me know and maybe we can get together and BAT.

regards,

Simbro_08

Thank you everyone- I have gotten some more time to work on these. Anyway, I have a question.

I am making some diagonal fillers (parks) But I need some help. Right now, they are props on the lot, would changing them to buildings take care of this:

If it would, how can I get it to fit a 1x2 lot (the actual house is larger than that)

Thanks oh and @ Simbro- if you are still interested, PM me about what you had in mind.

Making it a building wouldn't help. As far as the graphics go, props and buildings are basically the same.

It's hard for me to tell what's going on, but it looks like it might be an LOD problem. Your LODs should be more tightly fitted to the building. Can you show what your current LODs are?

Some really fantastic progress has been made with these houses. I like them and would download them, because even though I may not be into SE Asia style these have a generic look about them which could place them in many countries around the world. As for the realism for SE Asia, having lived and worked there for many years you have nailed it. Those countries have fascinating architectural styles and is a real mix of east & west.

My pennies worth; I would not use so many palms though and spread a variety around; that means that by playing with prop groups you can make 5 houses turn into about 20.

I am also starting to do some batting and it would be great to join a developing team and learn together. I agree tutorials are hard to find.
