Building Megastructures

It is not clear (to me, anyway) on HOW one builds a megastructure.  I understand it requires TOKENS and takes TIME and that there are "steps."  But, I've added in "some" of the required tokens, yet nothing is showing on the screen (the one that comes up when you click the "Manage construction" button) to indicate that part of the tokens have been received?  Do we have to wait till we have the full accumulation of tokens for a phase and add them all in at once?  As far as I can tell, I still need to add the same number of tokens that it started with.

I'm not going to go into the whole maths of how many tokens take how long etc.  To start a BP you have to place at least one of each type of token into it. eg. phase 1 requires 50 office and 20 executives, you can start the BP with just one office token and 1 exec. token.

So long as the tokens show up under the allocation section when you go to manage blueprint, you're set.  You won't see any graphical changes until the servers 'update' your blueprint.  As far as when that happens, I've seen all kinds of theories flying about.

Another thing to note; each token type can complete to 100% in it's own phase. As in the example above, if you stuff 20 executives into phase 1 and 1 office, on the next update, execs will be at 100% but offices more like 2%. but now you only need to allocate offices each day.

Ah, that helps.  So far I had only 1 type of the two types required.  Now I see I need at least 1 of each type.  Thanks for that information.
