You've got a lot of terraforming to do... I'd say: some mountains, more irregular coastlines, some terrain, water and climate mods... and .. forests of course. It's just an idea, do what you like. I wish you luck!

If not mountains, at least some major hills. Those rivers would not just start out like that on flat land. Terraforming all at once is tricky; that's why I terraform as I build, so I can bit by bit guage the feel of the land. Good start and hope to see development soon!

im thinking a small moutain range with tree's and some of the rivers running threw it. im getting more european like water mods for the waterways. I cant seem to find a climate mod...maybe could someone point a good one out, thanks!

Not every region though needs a mountain chain. Maybe some hills but nothing major. That's why I build on flat land! Looks great IMO!

For Mayspacy's terrain and climate mods, go to https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?mode=files&filetype=all&category=default&sortby=DatePosted&show=12&Str=mayspacy . It's not really a climate mod, but it offers different terraintypes, from a cool northern european climate to tropical.

go to  http://www.gizmo.lunarpages.com . Here you can download the weather effects mod (only works in mayor mode). Register first (it's free), then go to the downloads section and choose miscellaneous props, there you'll find it.

You could also check some maps and city journals to get some excellent examples of terrains

Timberland the first small city pop of 11k so far. frenchbread is my mayor name because  my brother was using the game before me

I do like your mountain range.  It looks quite nice.  I also like french bread, so it's a double bonus.
