I have read that there's a lack of a activity going on in the cities, and for example, the basketball courts are not used. For me at least I do see people playing basketball in the courts and people cheering on with HIGH graphics, but not with Medium graphics.

Is this the same for everyone else?

well I play on "very low" settings (yesyes, my gfx card is 4+ years old 3.gif), and I never see anyone anywhere... ever... ISSAGHOSTTOWN!!!!

I think it'll be quite a shock when I replace my gfx card next month and all of a sudden there's people everywhere... AIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!

Sure there will be a lot more people when you use high instead of very low, but still there are far too few people around. Plenty of cars though, but with high density residential, offices, and retail on the same street I expected it to be far more people around than there actually is...

"Minor Details" Like people cheering at basketball courts are ususlly only reserverd for the "High" setting in most games. The same thing happens with the basketball court in SimCity. If you turn down your detail settings there, you will notice that the people on the court will go away.

I have to agree with Xyloxadoria, although looking at the pic, why are people cheering at 2 games on 1 on 1,

That is absolutely fine. High graphics is when all the detail comes into play, if it was medium, a moderate graphics card would sizzle like bacon.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

    Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3
