I downloaded Villa Bellerive, but unfortunately, I forgot where it came from. I didn't bother to read

it's descripition to see if it has any dependencies, so I downloaded it. Ah, successfully downloading

and sent to Plugins folder on SC4 folder.

Then started a game, when I'm building my city "Menzies" and Villa Bellerive is quite popular type of

housing for my city's residents so there's many boxes appear everywhere. I tried to demolish the boxes

and allow other types of houses build on it.

I was wondering if anyone know any links for Villa Bellerive's dependencies? I did tries to search for it

on SC4 Devotion's Dependencies list. None found. Also, tried to find it on stex. None found. Googled it,

none found.

And, I've few other issues for other building.

I need dependencies for:

Beijing Olympic Stadium

Beijing Tennis Olympic Stadium

Lloyd Center (Portland, Orgeon) - i did download ALL dependencies required for Lloyd Center but still appear as box.

Coral Condos

Jeff's House - i did download ALL dependencies required for Jeff House (or Deadwoods) but still appear

as box.

Hope you could help me out.

Thanks.

If you still have the read me it will be in there. Barring that you could always remove it from your plug ins. Or just search for the lot itself and read the dependencies there.

Well. I did search for it. No found. And, I cannot remove the plug-in because it is "installed" in and it is created by BSC.

Actually that makes it easier - it will be in the plugins folder - and in a folder under that named "BSC" somewhere in that folder is the plug-in.

Hmm. I'll check it but I'm sure that it won't be there anyway.

Ah I found it but I'm not sure if it is Villa Bellerive's folder because it says: R$$$_Install_Bellereve

EDIT: I'll test it now on SC4 game. I hope it won't be ruined because of 'missing files'

No, that was the file to install it. If you didn't empty the recycle bin or otherwise totally delete it you could move all your plugins to a temporary file and then use that to install it again - it will be the only file there so you'll know the name to delete it from the temp file and then move everything back.

Hmm. I still couldn't find the file. All I wanted is dependency list or some information from Villa Bellerive's builder.

It may be listed as a program in your 'Add/Remove Programs' list in the Control Panel (if you're using Windows).

There is nothing special about the BSC installers. They work just like you unzipping any other lot or BAT file and putting it in your plugins, except the installer does all the finding of folders and putting files in the right place for you. Other than that you will have exactly the same kinds of files as you would if it had been a manual install.

BSC installers always have a readme. Usually it is triggered at the end of the install, but there should be a loose copy in the zip too. The readme's are also filed under a parallel folder in your LEX_downloads or STEX_downloads folder in your My Documents/Simcity 4 folder when you run the installer. Dependencies are always listed in the readme.

If all else fails just reinstall it again and the readme should pop up.

You will only ever get BSC files on the STEX or SC4 Devotion. They are not legally available in any other place, so that should cut down to two sites the possibilities of where you got it from.

ALL BSC files put a folder of the full docs for it in a folder in the SC4 folder called "XXX Downloads" .. where XXX is either LEX or STEX or PLEX.. if you deleted it, you're on your own.. I'd suggest deleteing the ingame folder and reinstalling it when you find it again.. this time paying passing attention to the info the authors went to a lot of trouble to put in for your benefit.

Ah. thanks. But I still couldn't find possible installation or file for Villa Bellerive. I found Villa Bellerive's download site from SC4D and it listed the required Dependencies. But I have all dependencies required for Villa to work but still appear as box.

Bulldoze it, THEN delete the files, reinstall it, and rebuild it.. you may have had an old version in the old city

Ah, well. this "Huge issue" is a huge issue for my sims who drive to the work and drives past the massive cardboard box tower. I would call that as huge issue. And, oh. I uses Villa Bellerive for one of my rural mountain town, so called Eagle Hawk (nice name? 2.gif) and there's many acreage mansions but one thing bothers me is acreage cardboard box mansions...

bulldoze it, save and quit, delete the files, install the new download you said you have.. verify that you have the dependencies, reload and rebuild.. no huge problem.. then there will be peace in the world, deseases will be gone, poverty will be in the past and all will be well
