Airport and University Crime

 are there any fixes or modds to get rid of some of the crime produced by airports and in universities

The reason that theese lots have high crime is because they are large.

To fix the problem, you will need to make sure the entire university or airport is in police coverage areas. if any part of it is out of police coverage area the crime on the lot will go up.

 I have done this and i have actually gone to the drastic measures to surrounding the whole airport/ university with police stations of all types. Nothing seems to suffice. I still get the message that this locale is crawling with creeps and that i should build more police stations.

1. Crime INSIDE THE MEGALOT doesn't matter pretty much..

2. Crime is a function of how close roads are to the point of crime.. so surround all megalots with roads/streets

3. Crime in megalots will only be addressed by modified stations (maxis stations only penetrate 3 tiles into a lot from a road) .. There are of course outright cheats, but some people have made slightly modified stations which boost the "penetration" primarily.. they can help.. for example the Mattb stations

4. Adding stations can help slightly but not much.. if it is quite high I find that just one or two kiosk stations where it is alrady covered by standard police coverage works pretty well.

5. The Crime Simulator Mod addresses the issue overall..(this was hard to find.. I just typed "crime" into the STEX search..   and CAMeLOT has it built in.as I recall

Ah, I've never been worried too much about crime at the airport.  To me, it's an accurate reflection of real life.  Airports are rife with crime and are organized crime and smuggler magnets!  Ever seen Goodfellas?

 ya but really airports should bring crime about the city not just in small areas also the country club has the same problem too.
