Help with sidewalks on roads?

 Why is it when i build my roads the sidewalks beside them are dirt. Even when it is build up around the roads 

the sidewalks are still dirt? What is going on I want concrete!

So as you can see the road has dirt and streetlight's and the one way has palm tree's but just grass. Should i just download the street add-on mod will this fix it?  https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=1617.60 suggestions?

The look of roads usually depends on that is built besides them. If you have wealthy retailers, sidewalks will be clean and with palm trees or if you have poor people living, you will have ugly streetlights on your sidewalks. In the case you're describing, seems you have farms around your roads, just rezone them to industrial, for example, and the dirt will dissapear.

 actually i do have a whole city all built up yet the roads continue to stay dirt on the sides.

 Yeah i have some mods but i wouldn't download one to make everything farm-like. 

I took some screen shots i just don't know how to get them on my desktop?

There are some sidewalk mods that could possibly give that look. If you want to post a picture, here's an explanation on how to do it.
