Working with slope mods

Does anyone have any ideas on building cities with slope mods active? I have Ennedi's slope mod active, along with a raiser/digger lot mod (not smoncrie's).

unfortunately, everytime I try to build my city, I run into a problem with sharp elevation level-offs. I get notifications that I cannot build a road, street, anything. is turning on/off the slope mod the only option to fix this?

Note that the slope mod only takes effect while you're dragging the network, doesn't affect anything you've already laid down. So you can simply take the slope mod out, draw your really steep road, and put it back in. I think we're using the same mod though, I have the same one from Ennedi. It's a pain with streets sometimes as I usually run with the "smooth" file. Ah, there's a question - did you take the other two out? That particular slope mod comes with three files for the streets, for smooth, moderate, and mountainous. You're only supposed to keep one in your plugins though. Not sure what happens if you leave all three in.

Slope mods can be made to do about ANYTHING.. I personally find Ennedi's to be far more restrictive than I like.. HOWEVER there is a trick that is doable.. you can put the mod IN or OUT. (as Spinmaster pointed out) . while it is IN you can mod the slope areas that you are interested in, then take it out when you're done. Remember that each transport mode usually has DIFFERENT slope restrictions.. play with it with street, road, avenue, highway, rail, etc.. you will find that each is different.. that list I just gave is usually least to most severe.. Therefor you can use say rail to smooth VERY GENTLE slopes.. you can use streets to make the least severe smoothing,, and so on.... And of course you can mod them to your own specific desires too.. I use a slope mod which I'm happy with but I forgot who made it.. Bones1 maybe? don't know because I've had it forever..

Oh, there is one important detail.. the slope mod CAN cause the game to CTD if you try to do certain things to tunnels and etc that were constructed with it OUT and then you try to modify it with it IN... so be aware
