Plugin problem

I recently started downloading Plugins from the STEX. The first of which was the 'BSC Mega Props pack" I did everything it said, and placed the file in the plugins folder. But when playing the game I can't find any of the props and nothings changed.

I was wondering if there were any other files I need, or if theres something I'm doing wrong...

The Props are for use in the BAT program.

BSC mega props does have some sim goober buildings mostly houses I believe. These are mostly dependencies, especially for other BSC lots.

The props are not for use in the game unless they are on lots. They will show up in the Lot Editor for use on lots.

DEPENDENCY and PROP and TEXTURE downloads.. mega or otherwise are normally REQUIREMENTS for other things to work properly and not "specials" for your plugins per se.. Each LOT or MOD should tell you what "dependencies" you need to make those downloads work.. they are necessary but not sufficient.

Oh ok, I see now. I originally thought it was a pack of buildings which when stuck in plugin folder, would start being used in the city. I was wrong :S Thanks for all your help, now I know.
