how can i use mods ?

hi guys im new to the game can u please guide me on how to download mods and how can i use them ? i tryed downloading one mod from here and placed  it in the plugins file but where can i find it in- game ?

once u place it into the plugins folder, the icon of what u downloaded should be a folder with a zipper, right click it the press extract all. now u should have 2 folders in total, one normal one and one with a zipper. (u cant delete the one with the zipper if u want u, u should for they slow down the game once they start to build up) check what was inside the folder, now ur done. if it was a install the thingy install it, press next, i accept etc.... (u know the drill i hope) then finish. u can also get rid of that file, now u shold have more files from installing now ur done ;3 ALSO always read the README. u may have to download a dependence in order for it to work/ show up. ;3

Before you download a mod, always ask yourself, "do I really want this?" If yes, then ask "Will this make my game better?" If yes, then ask, "Is there anything I don't like in this mod?" Always be sure you really want it, because you can really screw up your game if you dont ask these questions.

thanks for the help ill try it now... I realy like the mod with the 1 x 1 loot of water to make tiny rivers , also one more thing do u have to download things in order to build a success city ?

Those water plops are likely in the "MAYOR MENU" at the top of the items.. (where you normally find the raise, lower, level, etc)
